Aleksandra specializes in:
- commercial company law and ongoing corporate advice to Polish and international companies and commercial contract law
- commercial and corporate disputes
Aleksandra gained her experience in reputable Polish and international law firms in Warsaw and Krakow. Her professional activity focuses on litigation (also at the pre-litigation stage), negotiating contracts and providing ongoing advice to clients focused on protecting their interests and minimizing the risk of litigation. She also provides ongoing corporate services to companies, including participation in mergers, transformations, formation and liquidation of commercial law companies. She has participated in share and asset acquisitions serving both Polish and foreign investors. Her experience also includes preparing due diligence reports and legal opinions in the area of commercial law.
Aleksandra graduated with honors from Jagiellonian University. At the end of her studies she received the Rector's award, being one of the 10 most distinguished graduates of the Faculty. She is a member of the Bar Association in Warsaw. She communicates in Polish and English.
Selected experience of Aleksandra:
- Advising a group of real estate companies in a corporate dispute aimed at safeguarding investors' interests;
- Representing a company in a corporate dispute with a partner resulting from the partner's exit from the company;
- Representation of management board members in a dispute with the company's creditors with a view to holding them personally liable under Article 299 of the Code of Commercial Companies
- Pre-court representation of an IT company in a dispute arising from the execution of an agreement to develop software;
- Representing a real estate company in a dispute with a construction contractor pending before an arbitration court;
- Advising a real estate company in connection with the possible liquidation of a special purpose vehicle in the context of warranty and guarantee claims;
- Representing a company from the cosmetics sector in a dispute resulting from infringement of a reputable trademark;
- Representation of a company from the media sector in a dispute resulting from unlawful use of an image;
- Member of the team advising on and managing the acquisition of a controlling stake in Archicom by a leading Polish developer Echo Investment, valued at nearly EUR 100 million.
- Member of the team advising on and managing the transaction for the sale by Cavatina of a block of shares in Murapol S.A.
